ABBOTT- CERI/KRISP – Fellowship in Genomics (2-week short-term and 12-month long-term Fellowships)
The fellowship will cover travel, accommodation, and a daily stipend (around US$25,000 each for the long-term fellowships and US$1, 300 for the short-term fellowships). Individuals from national institutes of health and academic organizations affiliated with the Abbott Pandemic Defense Coalition that already have SARS-CoV-2 genomic data production and analysis experience and need to build skills in statistics, epidemiology, wet-lab genomic data production, bioinformatics and phylogenetic data analysis will be prioritized.

We can only provide these fellowships by collaborating with key funders. Abbott have provided funding that supports this call for fellowships. In addition, we also receive support from the Rockefeller Foundation and Africa CDC to identify fellows and support travel costs. However, this is only the beginning and we are looking for new partners, funders, and philanthropists to advance this fellowship project.
