Majyambere
Dr. Moise Majyambere holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Over the past decade, he has built extensive experience working in academic research environments, contributing to projects that support evidence-based research and public health initiatives. Following the completion of his doctoral studies, Dr. Majyambere undertook a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa (CAPRISA), where he was involved in research support and knowledge management within HIV-related studies. He subsequently spent five years working under the CAPRISA HIV Prevention Programme, further strengthening his expertise in research support, information management, and collaborative scientific work. Dr. Majyambere currently serves as a Senior Research Support Officer at the Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation (CERI) at Stellenbosch University. In this role, he contributes to strengthening research systems and supporting scientists working on infectious diseases and epidemic response, helping to ensure that research outputs are effectively organised, accessible, and impactful.
