Shezi

Queen Shezi is a Research Support Coordinator at CERI, where she supports researchers in preparing and submitting funding applications and assists with the administration of research grants. Her role includes drafting project budgets, facilitating contract reviews and approvals, and guiding teams on funder rules and spending requirements. She holds a BSc in Microbiology and Genetics from UKZN. Outside of her professional work, Queen runs a nonprofit organisation that provides mental health education in rural schools and communities. She is passionate about youth and women empowerment, community upliftment, and making a meaningful impact in her generation.
