Nicala Zeeman is a Project Administrator in the Division for Research Development at Stellenbosch University. She holds a Master’s degree in Research Psychology from the University of the Western Cape, which she completed while serving as a research intern in public health. Prior to this, she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communication Sciences, followed by a postgraduate honours degree, at Varsity College. Alongside her academic training, Nicala has been actively involved in volunteer work with organisations such as Friends of Valkenberg at Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital, and has worked as a reader and scribe for children with learning disabilities, as well as a tutor and teacher’s assistant. She holds a Western Cape Education Department certificate as a reader and scribe, in addition to a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification.
