At LaunchLab CERIBio, Marthinus Janse van Vuuren provides strategic, commercially focused business development support to biotech startups. His background combines scientific expertise, legal training and commercial strategy within the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. MJ holds an MSc in Neurophysiology (cum laude) and an LLB, and practised law for nearly a decade, specialising in litigation, contract law and alternative dispute resolution. He previously served as a Business Development Manager, where he built and managed global distribution networks, led international marketing initiatives, oversaw full product life cycles from selection to post-launch management, and successfully launched more than 100 products globally.
